Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business Building , Clemson SC
Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business is located at Clemson University. The project consists of two towers (north and south) and is connected by a grand pedestrian stair case. The project is adjacent to Douthit Hills and is located with key view corridors that need to be maintained.
Sexton Design and Development provided Landscape Consulting service that include Landscape Design Evaluation, Value Engineering options, and Construction Administration of the landscape and hardscape installation. Value engineering options of the design include: bio swale location and plant material suggestions, full planting plan review, emphasis on maintaining existing view corridors, plant material selection, construction detailing, and specification review. The objective of this report was to reduce the current landscape construction budget to approximately $750,000.
